The 8-Point Facelift, Also Known as A Liquid Facelift, Is a Non-Surgical Treatment Using Dermal Fillers to Subtly Lift and Restore Volume to Key Areas of The Face. It Enhances Facial Contours, Softens Lines, and Offers Natural-Looking Rejuvenation with Minimal Downtime.

Less Invasive and More Affordable than Surgical Facelifts, the 8-Point Face Lift Provides Immediate Results without Significant Downtime. by Contrast, Surgical Facelifts Offer the Potential for More Significant Change but Have a Longer Recovery Time and Bring the Potential Complications of Surgical Intervention.

More About the Treatment

When Exploring Ways to Rejuvenate Your Appearance, It’s Important to Understand the Different Facelift Options Available. While Traditional Surgery Remains an Option And, in Some Cases, May Be the Only Option, Many Patients Enjoy Non-Surgical Approaches that Use Dermal Fillers to Create a Subtle Lift and Restore Facial Volume.

The 8-Point Facelift Is a Popular Non-Surgical Procedure that Targets Key Areas—including the Cheeks, Tear Troughs, Nasolabial Folds, and Mouth Corners—to Lift and Contour the Face. by Strategically Placing Fillers in These Areas, This Technique Helps to Restore Lost Volume, Smooth the Skin, and Achieve a Refreshed, Youthful Look without The Need for Surgery.

This Technique Involves Precise Placement of Hyaluronic Acid Filler Injections at Eight Anatomically Significant Treatment Areas Across the Face, Typically Including the Cheek, Lower Cheek, Jawline, and Areas Around the Mouth. Injections Are Used to Restore Volume and Contour in These Treatment Areas, Enhancing Facial Harmony and Providing a Natural, Youthful Appearance. the Treatment Is Tailored to Each Patient’s Unique Facial Anatomy and Aesthetic Goals, Guiding the Selection of Injection Sites to Create a Refreshed Look without Altering Natural Expression.

Questions you may have

What is better a liquid facelift or a surgical facelift?

Choosing between a non-surgical facelift and a surgical facelift depends on your goals, lifestyle, and most importantly the signs of aging that you are seeking to address. Whilst non-surgical facelifts are generally better for those noticing early signs of ageing there is no one-size fits all. In certain circumstances a younger patient may be a more appropriate candidate for a surgical facelift and an older patient more appropriate for a liquid facelift. Understanding what can and cannot be achieved from a liquid facelift and when a patient is a more appropriate candidate for surgery is part of the expertise you can expect from any of our practitioners at Montrose.

Discomfort is minimal, especially with the use of numbing cream. Most patients find it very tolerable. The procedure involves multiple precise injections, but the application of a topical anaesthetic significantly reduces any pain or discomfort during treatment.

Results are immediate, with continued improvement over the next few days as swelling subsides an the filler settles in place. You will notice a smoother, more youthful appearance right after the procedures.

Typically at least 12 – 18 months depending on filler type and individual metabolism but it can last for years. Touch-ups can be performed on the 8-point facelift to maintain results as they begin to wear off. The longevity of the fillers varies based on factors such as the specific hyaluronic acid formula used and the treated facial area,. Regular maintenance treatments can help prolong the youthful effects and adapt the treatment plan to your evolving facial structure.

Yes — the 8-point facelift works well alongside complementary treatments such as Morpheus8 or Thermage for skin tightening, laser therapies to refine skin texture and reduce fine lines, and neuromodulators such as Botox to reduce dynamic lines or wrinkles.
While these treatments are not performed at the exact same time, combining them as part of a staged treatment plan can address multiple signs of ageing. Dermal fillers restore volume and structure, while skin-tightening and resurfacing treatments improve tone, texture, and firmness. This multi-modal approach allows for a more comprehensive and natural-looking facial rejuvenation, tailored to your unique goals.
