  1. Introduction

These Terms and Conditions govern the provision of consultations, non-surgical treatments, and minor procedures by Montrose London (“the Clinic”, “we”, “our”, “us”) and in all cases apply to the clinic, its employees, consultants, sub-contractors and agents.

By booking or attending an appointment, you (“the Patient”) agree to be bound by these Terms.

Where there is any inconsistency between these Terms and other materials provided, these Terms shall take precedence unless otherwise agreed in writing. However, specific treatment consent forms (see Section 3) will take precedence in relation to the treatment to which they apply.

  1. Clinical Care and Professional Responsibility

2.1 Independent Clinicians

All practitioners providing care at Montrose London are independent professionals. They are directly responsible for:

  • Assessing your suitability for treatment
  • Explaining risks, benefits, and alternatives
  • Obtaining informed consent
  • Delivering clinical care

The Clinic provides facilities and administrative support but does not control clinical decision-making.

2.2 Standard of Care

The Clinic will ensure that:

  • Practitioners hold appropriate qualifications and registrations
  • Practitioners maintain appropriate professional indemnity insurance
  • Facilities are safe, appropriate, and compliant with regulatory standards
  1. Consent and Treatment-Specific Terms

Before any treatment or procedure is carried out, the Patient will be required to complete and sign a treatment-specific consent form.

This consent form will:

  • Set out the nature of the treatment or procedure
  • Describe the known risks, limitations, and expected outcomes
  • Confirm the Patient’s understanding and agreement

In the event of any inconsistency between these Terms and a treatment-specific consent form, the consent form shall take precedence in relation to that treatment.

  1. Patient Responsibilities

Patients agree to:

  • Provide accurate, complete, and up-to-date medical information
  • Disclose all relevant conditions, medications, allergies, and previous treatments
  • Inform the Clinic of any changes to their medical circumstances before each appointment
  • Follow all pre-treatment and aftercare advice
  • Ask questions where clarification is required
  • Attend appointments on time and make payment as required

The Patient acknowledges that the Clinic and its practitioners rely on the accuracy of the information provided.

  1. Medical History and Data Accuracy

5.1 Patient Declarations

Patients must complete medical history forms and any related documentation truthfully and to the best of their knowledge.

5.2 Ongoing Validity

Medical information provided will be relied upon for clinical decision-making. It is the Patient’s responsibility to ensure that:

  • Information remains accurate at the time of each appointment
  • Any changes are disclosed prior to treatment

5.3 Reliance and Consequences

The Clinic and its practitioners shall not be responsible for any adverse outcome, complication, or ineffective result arising from:

  • Incomplete, inaccurate, or misleading information provided by the Patient
  • Failure to update relevant medical details
  1. Fees and Payment

6.1 General

Fees will be communicated in advance wherever possible.

6.2 Self-Pay Patients

  • Are responsible for the entire cost of their treatment.
  • Payments or deposits may be taken prior to treatment and any outstanding amount must be paid on the day of treatment before leaving the clinic

6.3 Insured Patients

  • Valid insurance authorisation must be provided before treatment
  • Any shortfall or declined payment remains the Patient’s responsibility
  1. Deposits and Advance Payments

Deposits may be required to confirm appointments.

Deposits will:

  • Be applied toward treatment costs when attended
  • Be refunded or retained in accordance with the cancellation policy
  1. Cancellations, Changes and Non-Attendance

8.1 Notice

Cancellations or changes must be made in writing.

8.2 Refunds

  • 48 hours’ notice (excluding weekends) is required for refunds or rescheduling
  • Short-notice cancellations will result in the full treatment cost being charged

8.3 Non-Attendance

Failure to attend without notice will result in the full treatment cost being charged

8.4 Late Arrival

Late attendance may result in reduced treatment time or cancellation, the full cost of the treatment will be charged regardless of the duration of the appointment

  1. Treatment Suitability and Outcomes

9.1 Clinical Assessment

All treatments are subject to clinical suitability. Practitioners may decline to proceed if treatment is not appropriate.

9.2 No Guarantee of Results

The Patient acknowledges that:

  • Medical and aesthetic treatments carry inherent variability
  • Outcomes cannot be guaranteed
  • Results differ between individuals depending on factors including medical history, healing response, and adherence to aftercare

The Clinic and its practitioners do not warrant or guarantee any specific outcome.

9.3 Further Treatment

Additional or corrective treatments may be required and may incur further cost.

  1. Clinical Instructions and Compliance

Patients must follow all instructions provided.

Failure to do so may result in:

  • Cancellation of treatment
  • Additional charges
  • Reduced effectiveness or increased risk
  1. Products and Prepaid Balances
  • Products are non-refundable unless faulty
  • Prepaid balances must be used within the specified validity period (typically 24 months unless otherwise stated)
  1. Complaints

The Clinic operates a formal complaints procedure, copies of which are available on request.

  1. Liability

13.1 Limitations

The Clinic is not liable for:

  • Loss arising from inaccurate patient information
  • Failure to follow clinical advice
  • Any economic loss including indirect or consequential loss (whether in contract, tort or otherwise)

13.2 Clinical Responsibility

The medical practitioners are responsible for clinical care which is undertaken in compliance with their regulatory obligations.

13.3 Legal Rights

Nothing in these Terms excludes liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or any liability that cannot legally be excluded.

  1. Data Protection

Personal data will be processed in accordance with UK data protection law.

Information may be shared with relevant healthcare professionals involved in your care. By proceeding with treatment, you consent to this use where necessary.

  1. Events Outside Our Control

The Clinic is not liable for failure to perform obligations due to events beyond its reasonable control.

  1. Changes to Terms

These Terms may be updated from time to time.

  1. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
