Catherine Mitchell

Senior Nurse Practitioner Catherine Mitchell, is the nursing lead for plastic surgery at Chelsea and Westminster Hospital having previously been a Senior Sister and Burns Clinical Nurse Specialist.

Throughout her career, Catherine has held senior nursing roles that have involved managing highly complex and pressured environments, including co-ordinating the burns department’s response to both the Grenfell fire disaster and the Parsons Green terror attack. Catherine has a special interest in lasers particularly for managing scars both post burns and after plastic or reconstructive surgery. At Montrose she applies this knowledge to both post-surgical recovery treatments, such as scar and bruising reduction, as well as to facial resurfacing with ablative laser.
